Landed at Kota Kinabalu last night at 8.30pm. Got to the Shangri-la’s Rasa Ria Resort.
Got given a room with twin beds attached even though we asked for king bed. They changed our room and sticked us at the end of hotel, still with an ocean view, which we requested.
Nothing in the mini bar and no glasses so we had to call room service, which took 20mins given we are in the sticks.
Finally managed to go for dinner at the Japanese restaurant. We had some great grilled food just cooked by the chef in front of us. Yes would recommend that.
Woke up this morning and went for breakfast, really crowded, massive selection of food but not sure the best quality.
Now we are late for the Orangutan tour. Let’s see what we get up to soon.
